Comipo is pretty great for things like this, huh? It seems they've even integrated some of it's features into VN Maker.
I tend not to be into Japanese humor but I'm sure someone here is. I think it'd be neat to see you hone your skills with this.
Yes, it is pretty fun to play with it from time to time, it might also be quite usefull to use the paneling and poses as references for my comic.
