Yeah, I'm down for a remake. It could be like the Super Mario Odyssey alternative, considering both games had humans in it lol

It would be awesome if Sega did remake the game, but at this point I'm pretty sure they just don't want to acknowledge it's existence. I know a few fans are remaking it, and I think people are just starting to hack the 360 version of the game to make it run a bit better. So if Sega isn't going to do it, then some fans might. :)
