Does anyone else get Sonic 06 trailer vibes from this? These days, I keep my expectations of a new 3D Sonic game pretty low, but I'm open-minded and hopeful that maybe they can give us something decent with this game. The open-world aspect is definitely appealing to me too.
As for the gameplay, it looks like a tech demo and very... empty. It doesn't even look like a Sonic game to me, but just a generic realistic-looking world with random floating objects everywhere. I hope they add more to it before release.
The exploration parts look so relaxing and I'm digging the new combat as well, although the sound effects might become annoying pretty fast.
