they can both move fast, they both have a TV series and they both have extras that are added to them: Megaman can become more powerful via Battle-Chips and Sonic has different shoes (Hover-Shoes, Power-Shoes etc.) added to him in the 5th and 6th seasons in Sonic X (Chris develops them.)

There were 3 seasons of Sonic X, and a buttload of DVD misprints.
And If you really want to get into it, there have been 5 Sonic TV series, at least 3 Megaman series, and they've each had an animated film.

i got a another reason again for the megaman crossover
its the beast outs if sonic would be able to beast out to gregar or falzar it would be ossum but theres another one too
the crosses (no not the double souls) megaman would get guts cross mega corss rol cross etc.

If there's a freak situation that Sonic got into another inter-game crossover, he should be with Megaman cuz, like Sonic Battle Network, Sonic Zero, Sonic ZX, Sonic Starforce and more. I'm so excited. I just have a new idea!

gregar is a bit like the wherehog xD
however i think it aint gonna work to have a crossover;
megaman + sonic = sonic with a gun = fail
mario + sonic = out of the question
spyro + sonic = sonic with scales = fail
rayman + sonic = .... a bit like my trackmania-sonic skin ( ill post it later on explaining wtf) = not quite there yet
roadrunner + sonic = everlasting discussions
tazmanian devil + sonic = fail! in any way!
etc.

Oh you could argue, "WELL HE WOULD BECAUSE MARIO IS NINTENDO AND POKEMON IS NINTENDO AND THEY'VE HAD MARIO AND SONIC BEFORE", but, um... have they had MARIO AND POKEMON YET? I was talking about this with my friend yesterday, and he noticed that Pokemon hasnt even had a crossover with Mario, so, why would they do one with SONIC?! >_> (Not flaming, I just wanted to prove my point)
Think about these words before you say "Pokemon" or "Pikachu"...
(Yes, people actually want Sonic and Pikachu to be in a game together... a game thats NOT in the SSB series. I saw a petition for it, their goal was 1000 names. They only have 6, but that means that 7 people think the same way about them being in a game, but it makes no sense (7th being the person who made the petition))
