Well I am currently in the kind of job I am interested in, but plan on making it further in a few years. I currently am working at a local Iveco commercial vehicle dealer as a trainee mechanic. I love it, people are friendly at my work and don't see me being the stupid one just because I am the youngest there. I plan on advancing in the truck industry by eventually being a driver and owning my own truck.
So... what about everyone else?
not sure...for now im gonna follow everything required for a restaurant owner cause i might take over my mother's restaurant, i also like animals so im not counting that out either
Heheh well i'm doing Animal Science with a year Foundation at University so I'll go into something with Animals. Vet maybe if i can has smarts and can last at Uni untill i get a Phd o.o lol
I'd absolutely love to be a musician or writer. I'm good at both so it could happen...
But if not I'm really handy with computers and I've taken like 3 Web Design classes so I've always got that to fall back on.

I hope you know it takes a lot of math and science courses. I'm talking Trigonometry and even higher than that. And it doesn't always have job security. My uncle got lucky. He designs software in New York. But he didn't do well in high-school math, and had to go to college longer. And he was REALLY lucky to be able to get that designing job.

Thanks for the warning, but I am actually aware of that already. My dad worked with electronics for 20 years (radar, specifically) and that took several years of schooling above High School. Another guy in my neighbor hood actually helped design the Tak game series (no joke) and I interviewed him for an extra credit English project. He said that it's also important to take art classes in college (particularly if you want to be a concept designer).
And to you, good luck with being an R.N. I really mean it.

Right now... I am majoring in Int'l Studies in college starting this fall, so I guess something like foreign affairs with the state department. I am going into Army ROTC, so my initial career will be as an Army officer.
My part time jobs in no way mirrored my interests: I started out as a cook at a Greek restaurant and right now I am just a lowly cook at McDonalds :( I tried a few days as a salesman, but it did not work. It causes far too much anguish. I would advise anyone here thinking about a job as a salesman to save themselves the headaches and not consider that venture.
