Isn't it just like a Sonic version of Mario Party that never caught on?
yes but I think its kinda cool how the dreamcast had visual memory units (VMU). and there wasn't a minigame after all the turns had past. plus, there was a lot more minigames in sonic shuffle than in mario party 1, 2, or 3.
Sure sometimes it has some troubles loading a disk, but I think it was the most high-tec console of its time.

Only because the dreamcast came out like 2 years before the GC and PS2. That's what killed it, but it was the only thing SEGA could do.

The dreamcast could still do somethings that the gamecube couldn't, like actually do something with date its given, (SA2 christmas costumes and halloween) and yet again, the VMUs.
on the other hand, the gamecube had a GBA emulater that you could buy and a mini screen that you could hook onto it to make it portable. you could also get wireless cotrollers for it.
the PS2 had wireless controllers to begin with, but only had two controller slots. :P

Unless you buy a multi-tap for the PS2. Then you can have 4 ports.
i have to pick... Sega Mega Collection plus, SADX, and Sonic & Knuckles!
but mainly SADX ;D i know very original

whats it like, Coleco Vision?
Weird. It's pretty typical for an old system, but the controller is like a big TV remote with a joystick. For the most part you use the stick and the two buttons on the sides (one for each handedness). It feels odd at first, but you get used to it. I got pretty good at Frogger, Donkey Kong, and Zaxxon.
I haven't played Sonic riders before but i'm gonna get it for my b-day hopefully =3

It's a tie between 3 and Adventure for me. Too many memories with both, not to mention they're both very good. :P
