And it's not a competition EP, even I'm open to the possibility of SonAmy, I just prefer SonBlaze. As for SilBlaze...we won't go there. XP

I don't think it degrades Blaze one bit to be Sonic's love interest. It's not like she falls head over heels in love with him the first time she sees him, nor that she's a total doormat (like Amy), the fact that they seem to make such a great team and show a degree of affection for each other is why I think the two of them would make a great couple. She would give Sonic the "guy time" he would need and wouldn't be all clingy and constantly concerned with keeping a specific date or schedule with him. She'd also work right along side him, which arguably speaking I can see Amy doing that too but, Amy's also very annoying and clingy to Sonic. So while I think Blaze would be a great match for Sonic, Amy I don't. I don't even care about the "well she's a hedgehog too" arguement, because to me that doesn't really matter. Either you're compatable, or you're not. Plain and simple. Ok, I know you didn't mention Amy should be with Sonic specifically as a counter argument, but I wanted to bring that up just in case someone else did.
And that picture of Blaze and Sonic you showed, looks really cute to me. Honestly I think they'd work very well as a couple, probably better than any other potential love interest with Sonic.

Never really thought of them as a potential love interest for Sonic. I don't really support any Sonic couples, but the only one that really makes sense to me is Sonamy, because Sonic has shown some signs of atleast caring about her i believe.

Well, I didn't really know exactly how to put it, but I'm kinda hoping you know what I mean. I don't really try to play match maker with Sonic characters anyway...

In real animals, I'm pretty sure that would be a no. But as for anthropomorphs, who knows?
