The Vita is not backwards compatible. Rebuying games you already paid for physical isn't backwards compatible. It's a ripoff.

If you're talking about digital copies, the PS4 (and Vita) will have PS3 games available through Gaikai.

I was more talking about if you bought a PSP game digitally, you can simply redownload it on your Vita through the download list.
