Berserk

So, I just watched the first of the Berserk Remake Movies... "Berserk: Egg of the Supreme Ruler"

Holy shit... Is it good.
I only got into this because Shrio Sagisu (Bleach, Magi, Evangelion) composed the Music...

The 3DCG is a bit... "blunt" at some points.
The Art, Sound and general directing of this Movie is quite fantastic.

Some of these shots are so beautiful - reminded me of Dariusz Wolski's work (Prometheus, Pirates of the Carribean)...
You know, wide, "quiet" shots.

Aside from the 3DCG... I have one more issue with the first Movie... and that is the ending.
It ends like... on a high note... and then it cuts (without any pause) to a preview to the second movie...

I know that this is a thing of Japan - But I honestly dislike that; ESPECIALLY considering the movie is only 1h and 10 minutes
I thought it broke the "immersiveness" so badly that I actually went ahead and ripped the movie just to cut that out, so that when I watch this Movie with friends they won't have to experience that.

Seriously, check it out.
Note: I have not read the original manga from 1989 nor seen the 25 Episode anime show.
