What's the checkpoints like?

No checkpoints. You die, you go back to the beginning. It's not so bad since the game can be completed in around 20-30 minutes (in fact, there's an achievement for beating the game in under 8 minutes without shortcuts). Unless you're talking about the shortcuts. There are four main areas in the game, each with four levels. Once you reach the end of an area you'll meet the Tunnel Man who will ask you for something. It could be money or items. Do that three times and you'll unlock a shortcut to the next level.

Why have you not played the free version yet?

Beacuse: FFV, Soul Sacrifice, Fire Emblem Awakening, and most importantly fuck you.

You still haven't beaten Jet Set Radio either. Why do you always pick the longer games to play first and leave the shorter games in your backlog?

I dun like Jet Set Radio, that's not in my backlog, that's on the ragequit list.

I'm disappointed that you didn't enjoy Jet Set Radio but I can respect that it isn't your thing. You should play Jet Set Radio Future when if the HD remake comes out though.
