What If Ash Ketchum Actually Won A PKMN League?

What if in the X/Y anime, Ash actually wins the Kalos league, but then he goes
"I may be the Kalos champion, but to be a PKMN master, I must win all the leagues"
So like, if Nintendo ever decides to make 3DS Remakes of the old Gens, they can make Ash revisit the old regions to rechallenge the leagues, maybe even have the Gym Leaders have "updated" Pokemon teams and stuff.

This way, Ash can actually win PKMN leagues, but still have the anime continue, to old and new regions, whether Nintendo decides to make a remake, or a new pkmn game.
