Actually Nomura isn't directing the game anymore, presumably because he did nothing but sit on his ass for 7 years.

Or maybe it was because he had to do Kingdom Hearts spinoffs under the orders of Square Enix, is now working on Kingdom Hearts III, and is now working FULL-TIME to finally finish the damn game he's been working on since KH2 came out?
