Y'know what I'd like to see?

I'd like to see a grand adventure shounen-ass shounen anime where main dude and main gal get together in the middle of it, and in the ending, we get to see them grow really old, and they're sleeping in the same bed, main dude gets up and sees his wife is still asleep, he's ecstatic cause it's the first time he's woken up before her so he gets to see her sleep or whatever, but then he soon after finds out that she passed away overnight, but she like, died with this super happy peaceful smile.
Or you could switch the genders around, whatevs.

I got something close to this, an anime called Kurokami, but it ended with main dude passing away on a chair overlooking his garden with his grandchildren while the Mrs was in the kitchen.
Close enough, I guess.

And the girl starts out with short hair but it gradually grows longer.

Cause it's the best kind of bittersweet.

Not really, not if she just dies out of nowhere.

It's a much better death than dying in some unknown land amongst strangers when your over is completely unaware.
Or just getting murdered in general.
