Megaman 10 announced for WiiWare

The plot will revolve around finding vaccine to cure berserk robots; try to guess the source of the virus. Finally, one boss has been revealed so far, named Sheep Man, with his Thunder Wool ability. Yes, we're serious.

There's no word on a release date yet, but Mega Man 9 received a pretty positive reception for its return to Mega Man's 8-bit roots. It even featured retro-hideous box art, which Mega Man 10 is taking to heart as well (above). Check out Nintendo Power later this month to read the full story.

Is anyone besides me excited about this? I can't wait for it, no doubt it will be awesome and I bet Sheepman will be the Cutman of this game. o:

I am looking forward to it as well. It looks interesting and I heard that there will be 2-player co-op which is a definite plus. I wanted it to be 16-bit this time around though, but it's no big deal. There is always next time.

Well, the boxart sure does look more or less like some realistic fanart shit.
It's not bad art, it just doesn't suit Megaman.

tha is what makes this a megaman cover because they always screw the game with those covers that have nothing to do with megaman

the american covers for megaman 1 and 2

the european (i think) cover of megaman 2

and the virtual cover of megaman 9

so if you saw this then you should know that these are covers of megaman and we can´t help it
