Rant about drawings...

Okay, my parents are like "NOOOO, that's not good" and "what's wrong with you?" and "people will think there's something wrong with you" b/c I drew this-

Mainly b/c there's an obvious gun and the work "insanity"
1. I've drawn guns before...
2. Insanity is a reference from Soul Eater

So, they're fine with my drawing blood on a blade, but not a realistic gun?

(all my drawings are at My deviantart Not posting here b/c not supposed to be on PC and the drawings are large)
The Shadow is the one with blood on the blade and Zero has a gun on his right hand...
And I'm thinking "okay, you're not okay with my drawing a gun, but you are fine with me drawing blood on a blade?"

And I noticed that the overall head is too large on one side.
