How so? It's still teams of worms pummeling the living shit out of each other.

It's like how Scorched 3D pretty much threw the concept of Scorched earth out the window. The fun in the simplicity of the game is what appeals to me, and 3D kills that simplicity by even adding that extra dimension.

Worms is a game I mostly enjoy in 2D.

That's not really what I meant, but I'm not looking for an argument. I just prefer the ol' 2D style.
