In my house, right now, is a copy of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3
That's right, I own a Capcom game despite all my rage and sisgust at them as a company, and as human beings.

I walked into the electronics store with my brother, and after looking around for awhile I told him I wanted to leave here with either Killzone 3, Kirby's Return to Dreamland, Mario Kart 7 or Starfox 64 3D since Kid Icarus Uprising wasn't there yet, cause if it was then no sh*t I would get it. After much pondering my brother told me that I couldn't decide we would just leave, and as he said that, he noticed that I was glaring at UMvC3 and asked "Wanna get it?". I immediately snapped back at him as if to drive a knife through his gut at the mere thought of me supporting Capcom. He then began to say "Bro, I've seen you, you watch vids of it, you follow the tourneys, and you clearly know about the mechanics, if you want it, just get it..."
It was true, ever the Vanilla came out I was indeed excited and wanted to play it badly, and after getting the stupid Dreamcast emulator working, I finally tried out MvC2, and I then placed MvC3 on my -would like to get- list, cause c'mon, priorities.But after watching this review

I decided I was just gonna skip it and settle with BlazBlue Continuum Shift. But then of course, y'know what happened 5 months later >_>.
And it was here where my hatred for all things Capcom started, and it burned me inside. Like a scorned woman I followed every trailer and showing of UMvC3 waiting and hoping for it to be a big flop and watch it crash and burn to stick it to Capcom that you do not f*ck with your fans, but alas, the more I watched, the more I was intrigued, the more I wanted to play the damn thing, but I told myself "NO, Capcom is the plague, and a dollar to them is a dollar against video games!" So I chose not to buy it, but I still watched videos about it on the account that it still interests me.
So I guess all those suppressed feelings of actually wanting to play the game myself instead of just watching all the time surfaced, and just like that, I nodded, and I bought it...

I took it home, suffered through the mandatory install, and y'know what? Save for the fact that Megaman isn't in itt himself, the game turned out to be everything I wanted it to be... I like it, and my only actual complaint as far as the game itself goes is that I wished they did more with the arcade endings...

But once I was done and I took the disc out, all my negative feelings came back to me, I almost felt nauseous.
I gave Capcom my moneys, those evil bastards who I wish would vanish mysteriously in the night. I am now no better than all those rejects who like SFxT, they can now batter me with their argument "What does it matter what Capcom does? As long as I enjoy the game it's all good", I would snap at them saying "Don't support Capcom, they ruin modern games with their BS DLC practices", but now look at me, I did the exact same thing they did, I did the exact thing I was fighting against...

I feel like I've betrayed the video game industry, and on top of that, I've become a hypocrite.
I no longer feel like a decent enough of a person to talk to you guys whom I've come to respect so much, so I will take my leave from here for a little while until I no longer feel this way... gimme until Nintendo's press conference at least...

But it's all good. I kind of want to play it too. If only for Pheonix Wright. If you really feel that bad just return it. You might not get the entire $60 back but you can probably at least buy a 3DS game.

To you wind, I wouldn't say that you've betrayed anyone. you buy things you want, and you wanted it, so at least you got that out of the way and can no longer feel the want to get it. Besides, Capcom has been doing a few nice things lately that I've been quite impressed with. I won't get into that though.

I for one hate them, too. But maybe you're just taking it a little over the top. 
I don't see any reason for anyone to think low of you for something like this.

Well, after seeing the press conferences today, it's given me some time to just accept that if there's a game you want, just get it, don't let the game, dev team, or yourself suffer because of a publisher's BS. It'll hurt me a little inside that they profited, but that feeling will pass, but me enjoying the game... will also eventually pass, but it'll last a heck of alot longer.

I bought Megaman X Command Mission, but it was used.
