Now all that stuff is retailer-exclusive or a pre-order bonus. I guess it's better that way, but it still sucks that any console can have any amount of exclusive content.

Experiences you can't get anywhere else, and if you do get it somewhere else, it's not nearly as good.

Unlike getting one console and completely ignoring the other and still missing nothing.

Pikmin 3? Little King's Story is just as good.
Bayonetta 2? Games like Devil May Cry are just as good.
Smash Bros? Okay.
Mario Kart? Sonic Racing is just as good.

Another game that's also exclusive on a Nintendo console... unless you have a Vita. But I've never even heard of it, so I can't argue if it's better than Pikmin 3 or not.
Arguable, oh so very arguable. Peronally I value Bayonetta much more, and it has nothing to do with perverted reasons.

Those two are... different. One isn't parrticularly better than the other, their cars/karts handle different so it's a matter of taste, and my tastes happen to align with Sonic Racing
