What happened was that his router is really screwy and it keeps fucking up, and it can't keep a signal.  He said that he would rather just not go on the internet than have to deal with that.
So yeah.  You won't be seeing Meph around.

that's one reason why I don't trust wireless internet. I use a cable modem.

Hah, I have wireless internet. It sometimes disconnects but it's mostly stable.

I had that problem with one of our computers also, but the other one stopped working and we put this one in it's place.
This one has wired internet.

I had that problem,then my pc fixed itself 

so I guess he'll keep having fun outside

I use both router and modem. Havent had any problems. Well that sucks for Meph.
