Differences:

For starters, the iPhone has a microphone right above the touch screen, iPod doesn't.

(You can't tell by the picture but...) the iPhone is bigger, and slightly fatter I think, the iPod touch is skinny.

Btw I don't care about the apps that are on those pictures, I just grabbed pictures of them, k?
