Red Lake Future RP: Sign Ups.

Alright, I've decided to do it regardless. If you want to sign up you I'll need to approve your application. You must be able to post comprehensible English in order to participate. The reason being is that this RP is supposed to be mature and if Yu post liek dis den we cawnt understawnd u an it riuns teh mood c?

Anyway, now that I'm through with the basics, let's cut down to the world synopsis, shall we? I would like to make it clear that even though our story takes place during the time line of Red Lake Future, it isn't cannon in anyway for obvious reasons. No need to be worried about me thieving your character.


"Her diary is one of the few remnants of the old world. Our people believe that this is fate. It is our most holy document. Our memories of the world before are faded, however, we can still infer that this was indeed her doing. That is what we believe. After she set out for that cursed tower, she confronted Damian and defeated him in battle. She then wiped out the "cursed" half of the earth, by exposing the earth's core. The hit emitted from the core wiped all life from the face of darkness. Yes, we believe she did this so that we could prosper...that she gave herself to the hell of the earth's core, so that we could live in peace. However, I've never been one to swing with tradition. I've don't believe she ever existed. Where's the proof she did? If you can find it, I want it. This..."Kaitie". This "deity" that you worship. Anyway, I'm not one to straight up shoot down people's religion. I just like to give my two cents. Tell me, do you even know what the faces of light and darkness are? You did go to school, no?. I believe that's taught in...kindergarten? Anyway, the faces of light and darkness are the segments of the planet that remain after it was split in two. Light, the world we live on is abundant with plant life, cities, humans...basically and advanced version of civilization before the big "calamity". Can you guess what the other half is? You guessed it. Nothing but dust, dirt, and desert. Hmm, you don't know where you are? You have to be kidding me...This is Talbot. This area is full of those loyal to Kaitie. Those who think of her as their god, if you will. Whoever, we're know for respecting all other religions. Unlike most other cities you'll enter. Anyway, I gotta get going. I was called on duty over a half an hour ago. Oh, and by the way. The name's Nick. I think we'll be seeing each other around. I feel it in my gut."

And with that, he started on his way into the large building looming over head. The white city's paint glistened in the morning sun. The monorail above have just come into the station. More buildings in the distance attempted to block out sun, but barely scathing it. Talbot was famous for being a futuristic metropolis. Planters containing shrubs and flowers divided the walkways all around. In the center was a very large fountain. Around the fountain was a small river made of stone. Only about 4 inches at most deep, it stretched all around the city until it drained, eventually, into the ocean where it was recollected for the fountain. As the sun began to set and all the street lamps began to shine, the inhabitants were as immersed by the city's beauty, as they were every night. The roar of the gargantuan Demonessant Cyclops approaching, woke everyone up out of their daze.


Alright, crappy intro flavor text. Never the less. It's show time. And by that, I mean, time to create your bio!

Character Bios:

Name: (Name your character. Simple, right?)
Sex: (Your character's gender.)
Religion: (Our RP contains three major religion known simply as groups 1, 2, and 3. Group 1 thinks of Kaitie as a diety and worship her because of what's written in her diary. Group 2 fear her as the devil, because they believe she tried to extinct the human race. And group 3 are atheists and just don't give a f*ck about either one.)
Appearance: (Describe your character's looks. What does he/she wear? What makes them stand out in a crowd? Pictures would be nice, but they aren't required.)
Personality: (Just a brief description of your character's personality.)
Background: (Where was your character when this all happened? In his/her home? With Nick and the TPD? Helping an old lady cross the street? Whatever the case may be, post it here. This is the only part that I'll thoroughly review.)

Character Bios Example:

Name: Nick Amato (Random last name with a meaning, ftw)
Sex: Male
Religion: Group 3.
Appearance: Nick's attire is that of the standard cop in this area. He wears black, leather, fingerless gloves, a black shirt with sleeves down to his elbows. On top of that, he wears a small, black police vest. His badge is pinned to it on the right strap. He wears black jeans and black shoes as well. He has brown eyes and blond hair. He is Caucasian. (Yes, it can be that terrible and vague. Just as long as we get a slight idea of what we're looking at.)
Personality: Nick is know for his extremely cocky attitude. Around the force he often says he just never matured. He constantly pokes fun at his commander who has learned to just shrug off his comments. Despite his immaturity, Nick is a decent cop and won't give up on a job until it's done and over with.
Background: Nick's commander is also his best friend. Despite this, he more than often gets joy about of setting her off. At 21 years old, Nick is the youngest on the force, but he manages to out rank many of his older partners. At the time of the attack, Nick was heading into the station saying he had been called for duty.

That a good example? I know it's vague and rushed but I'm not expecting Shakespeare for a sign up skeleton.

Edit. One Last Note:
This RP is meant to be serious (though I might try and throw in some humor). And as such, you are to treat it seriously. No running up and killing the main villain the first time we meet him/her cause it kills the point of the RP.

Yep, I can accept that. But eventually we'll all have to join up with Nick as a group so you might want to add some way to cope with that. And Red Lake doesn't really exist yet so I'm pretty much accepting anything that doesn't stray off too far. x3

Sex: Male
Religion: 3
Appearance: white, brown hair, blue eyes,jeans, red shirt with black jacket, black gloves with the finger tips cut off.
Personality: Dante doesn't really talk much since he's so focused to get money for his dad, but when he's not that busy he can be friedly. He takes a lot of risks that most people would normal just run away from, but hesitates if it's one that puts his life on the line
Background: A few years ago, Dante's father was strucked by an incureable disease. Since then, him and his mother have been taking care of and trying to get money to pay for his meds, but getting money was impossible since they lived in a town that worship Kaitie and refuse to give them jobs just because his family does's wordhip her. With no other way, Dante was forced to leave in order to get the money and send it back home while his mother stayed behind to take care of his father. His travels had lead him to Talbot, where he hopes to get lucky. But his luck didn't seem to look so good when the attack happened just moments after he got to town.

Name: Angelique Malkov

Sex: HermaphroditeFemale

Religion: Group 2.

Appearance: A mixed-nationality girl; Latina and Russian.  Her dominant features are Russian; platinum blonde hair in a messy twist in the back, and long bangs that frame her face, sapphire eyes, and fair skin, although a slight bit of her Latina side shows in her complexion and her accent.  She usually dawns her favorite outfit of a black sleeveless high-neck vest (the neck of the vest asks like a muffler when zipped all the way) zipped halfway over a decorative yellow brassiere and a ridiculously short yellow and black plaid pleated skirt overtop of distressed skinny blue-jeans.  Her shoes are black high-tops (think converse).  She wears a black headband with yellow ribbons on either side.

Personality: Angel is a little troublemaker.  She's easy to get along with, but very immature and mischievous.  People tend to think of her as a pre-teen child because of her short height and the way she acts, despite being 20 years old.  When around people, she tends to try and show off and act like the big, tough person, when in reality, she has many faults.  She's pretty skilled with anything with a trigger, though, and has deadly accuracy, although that's her only strength.  Besides being able to lie her way out of any situation.  She's not a bad person, and doesn't mean anyone extreme harm, despite her ways.

Background: Angel is just your average young adult living in Talbot...besides all the trouble she causes.  She's lied her way out of many dealings with the police before - she's usually found screwing with the "religious crowd" because of their silly beliefs that Kaitie was a deity.  She, on the other hand, believed that Kaitie was truly evil and corrupt in her doings, conflicting even her parent's beliefs...not like her parents could do anything about it because she was an adult.  And she makes it known too, which has caused her to have multiple run-ins with the police force for her quite "out-there" ways of doing things.  In fact, the moment that the peace in town was shaken(or whatever peace she hadn't already disrupted), she was busy with some graffiti work.

Her excuse to join Nick could probably be something like community service for getting caught too many times fucking with the town.  xD

Although, I don't think I'll use the reason you suggested, but I could manage with something close.

Also, if anyone feels they need to amend something, do it now. It's best not to wait until we start...which should be either later tonight or sometime tomorrow.

Anyone else willing to join? I plan on beginning later today or tomorrow (yes, I'm aware I said that yesterday) so sign up while you still have the chance. This topic will remain open after we begin, but after that point I cannot guarantee you a important role or even a spot at all.
