I tried the BETA, and I gotta say, it turned out alot better than I thought.

Although this is by far the worst Sonic soundtrack I've heard in my recent memory, the whole tag action thing doesn't break the flow as much as I thought it would...
However, the flying is nerfed(with respect to Tails flying by himself in previous Sonic games), and is only playable as a Sonic&Tails combo. They could've at least given us the option to play as Tails on point with Sonic as the sidekick Sonic Advance 3 style =/

Future episodes

On March 14, 2012, Iizuka confirmed in an interview that as of the moment there are no future episodes currently in development for Sonic 4. He says that Sega just want to see how the users accept this episode."  However, during the PAX East 2012, Cheat Code Central spoke with Sega representatives who informed that Episode II does not end the Sonic 4 story, saying if the episode does well in sales, an Episode III will likely be developed, as well as an Episode IV if that does well in turn. The representatives also mentioned a possible Sonic the Hedgehog 5 could be developed after Episode IV.
