Review the Year 2008

Well it's the new year and I just felt it would be nice if we all sat down,try to remember all thats happened,and in YOUR perspective,rate the year 2008 from 1-10.Me first 

          Well for me,I'm not sure as to what I should feel about that year <_<.Let's start with the good ahem.2008 is the release of many favorites,Mario Kart Wii(I think),SSBB,Sonic Unleashed and such.It's also the year where I took my first step into upper school.I finally got the internet channel,got a new phone.....yyyyyeah..thats it.
           The BAD part however ugh,where do I start.my pets are partying up in whever dead pets go,I almost drowned,almost run over,computer crashed half of the year,almost burned,forced to sleep on a burnt bed,PS2 died,failed the 10th grade(an EPIC fail),didn't go to Busch Gardens  ,forced to attend gay long ceremonies DX,had to take a f*cking math class DURING Christmas holiday,and as usual my "if I get caught it doesn't matter" time get shortened -_-

You thought I forgot didn't you  ,nah of course I didn't.This is also the year that I found this place  and it totally covers all the bad stuff  ......ok some of it.....you know what,no it didn't make it any better >_> cause all the crap that happens lingers on me like the stench of a skunk when it pees on you DX,and the scent gets stronger and stronger.BUT this place did keep me away from being an unstable psychopathic mess 

So overall I give the year 2008 a:

Hrm, where to start

2008 started out with me being dumped...doesn't get much worse than that....the first few months were a nightmare...I almost failed the 10th grade (still dunno how I passed) and I was grounded all of June, when everyone else was enjoying their summer break. My parents have been extra gay lately, and I've been yelled at more than anyone should in a lifetime...

On the good side though....lots of amazing video games came out...I made a few new friends, became closer with my existing friends, and met the most amazing girl I've ever had the pleasure of knowing, let alone to be going out with her <3
I went to a few awesome concerts with friends (which my mom still doesn't know that I went to XD)
Got better at guitar, my band finally got their shit in gear and started practicing, got a bass guitar and started playing that as well
Got a much needed new laptop for christmas
And other good things that I can't remember

Very boring, and not every eventful... with the exception of over the summer when I went up to Maine for a week. I guess it wasn't so bad but I've had better years for sure. Also have to take in consideration the stupid economy.

Well this year was on the good side
Good:i actaully made an acount here
i made freinds,i passed my grade
I havn't brocken anything, and i got to help some of you all with things wich mde me feel good,and thats IT!
BAd:my laptop was F*cked up(missing blade reason)
a camera i got for christmas was brocken before i opened it
my family is living apart
i had a gun to may face
i had to be away from here for 2 months
i alssmost got run over
and(if you dont beleive me i dont care) my house is haunted so i gove this year a

Let me see...

Congress screwed over the economy worse than last year, the vote on a gun ban was split 50/50, Conflict and hatred in the world grew more intense, I almost failed the ninth grade, I got the news that my best friend is moving to chicago at the end of the school year, My 99 year old grandfather died ( ), I entered High school (where I live, Middle school~Junior High School~ is 7th - 9th and High School is 10th - 12th) and had to part with said best friend, aaaaaaaaaaand...my sister almost choked to death.

HOWEVER,...

I made some AWSOME new friends, became closer to my old friends, made my first machinima (I'm uploading it to youtube),got several new cousins, went on a week long river trip, developed close friendships with a few of my ninth grade teachers, entered High School (I know it's on both lists), I had a very important religious event (not gonna specify), I grew closer to my family, aaaaaaaaaaaaaand...I lived to see another year end. Oh, and I found these very forums!

My rating? Hmmmmm...

Well, let me think back. I'm gonna make this a quickie.


My family got a new computer after not having one for an entire year. I got a Nintendo DS Lite, which left me with something to do considering my Xbox was messed up. I got my first girlfriend (for real), but she was a horrible one so I count that as being bad. My end of the year class trip was bullshit, especially considering the past ones I had in 6 and 7th grade. Summer was fun and all, so that's good. My Xbox finally broke and became unplayable. Of course by then I spent most of my time on the internets anyway. I started high school and made a bunch of new friends. Had fun on my birthday. Found this place. Got a Wii. Became president-elect Barack Obama (joke), and that's it.

Okay this might be a quick review

On the first 2008 we had some great time at 2008 everything was fine at School but I didn't have a great time when it was Spring break we had to clean the house and on Summer vacation we got a new computer and had some good times on the computer and we got a new swimming pool. On the next month things started to change we had to clean the house again and again it was boring cleaning the house so I got tired and decided to rest and when Summer was over I had the worst summer ever but on the first day of School everything was fine, until now I got in trouble because of those stupid students I got a ticket from police and now I got to be in Court but the students that was messing with me got a ticket too and got to go to court worst 2008 ever and that's about it, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas was okay but I give it a low rating

February, I get pocket money, and I stayed at my cousin's house for extra pocket money(Cuz my cousin know many adults.)
March, a piece of shit, nothing special.
April, same as above.
May, superspecialdipshit.
June, nothing special.
July, awesome summer holidays, got a new Laptop adaptor.
August, Awesome, but school is coming!
September, Totally suckes ass, my classmates laugh at me because my pants were wet and they say:"You pee on your pants"and I got angry, and FALCONE PUNCHED in that guy's face.
and that damn bitch cried to the teacher.And I had to apologize to that asshole.****.
October, SUPERSPECIALAWESOME.My birthday, and I got $100.
November, boring as usual.
December, AWESOME!I stayed at my cousin's house and played online games with him, and stayed up late to train his character for him.Got $540.W00t (Of course I asked for it, we share the same account)

Anyway. My 2008... Well Tech-Wise:

Many great game releases: SSBB, Sonic Unleashed (despite the werehog levels), Mario Kart Wii, Mario Galaxy, etc. Many tech issues: Somewhat bricked wii, screwed over XP (lost all my files and had to reset the computer completely), transition to Vista, broke internet adapter, and some other things.

Many great parties and new friends. Many mis-haps: Shot myself in the eye with an air-soft gun (it wasn't soft...), dropped a TV on myself, and a few other things.

Good news: Recovered a bunch of lost items... I can't think of anything else....... Bad news: Learned about moving to Chicago after having lived where I do for 5 years (longest I've lived anywhere), friend moved without telling me, and other things.

I'd say 10/10. Even though a HUGE amount of crap has happened to me... I wouldn't have had it go any other way.
