I decided to start a videogame company specialized on high quality freeware but I need help to start it if anyone is interested please contact me we are in need of EVERYTHING!

Can we have a little detail of what positions there are and what we do. Until I get further details i'll be a tester and advetiser.

If you're thinking of making your company as big as Nintendo or Sega, then go ask some professionals that know a lot more on all that company shiz.

OK my fist project is called: Project Newlands, and it is still laking a name.
I'm planning on doing a open world, action/adventure game with elements like sonic adventure (Open worlds + levels, but in this case little "worlds")
Thought the story is on progress (0%) the main character will be designed by the player(s) but they can't alter the storyline.
The Game features are:
-Gameplay:
-Both single and multi-player modes (Single story mode, multi-player cooperative missions and battle modes)
-Weapons. Ranging from melee (swords, sticks, gloves, etc.), to distance (bow and arrows, guns, missiles, etc.)
-Vehicles for especial levels and open-world transportation, and mechs for the levels (each with different abilities)
-Style:
-A mix of both old-time and futuristic elements. Yet it is still in progress and can be changed.
-Main world:
-An open place filled with everything for the game, from upgrade, to weapons, to item shops.
-Access to "worlds" levels
-It expands as you progress through the story.

And that's all I have gotten through yet it is still missing parts and can be changed

Also, making a game company isn't easy.
I'm gonna be the one who is a bitch, but you need schooling, money, the right materials, more money, a crew of hired professionals (that isn't just picked up kids from the biggest Sonic the Trollhog site on the net), and more money.

Not to mention, that list of stuff you have there would take months. Years if it's in 3d, as rendering a single model can take weeks.
Do you have any experience in programming? If not I'd suggest you take two years to learn what you're doing. You can't lead a game if you don't understand your employees.

And you should learn what you're gonna code it in, and what engine you'll be using as a base. Unless you're making you're own, which takes quite a long time. For a game such as that I'd recommend Unreal GDK, though it eats computer memory for breakfast, and graphics cards for dessert. And I have no idea how you would implement character customization.

In my opinion, If you're not rich, 2D development would be a much better route, powerful enough to craft something beautiful, versatile enough to goof off. Plus you don't need to know jack about 3d modelling.

What this man said, child. Nintendo didn't get where they are today not knowing how to do their job, and as much fun as it seems to sit back and watch other people program a game for you you aren't going to find many that will.

Ok kid, I'm willing to take this job (as long as I'm not designing or voice acting).

But with what Draco, 196, and Jkid said, take some classes. If you're not willing, then train yourself. Maybe start by hacking a simple game like SADX. But again, it takes a long time. No easy cakewalk. Ask someone who hacks..they'll say it isn't easy. (Unless they're skilled, but the time..)

The only thing I've every seen you do in that genre is SFB, and, a few of the things I learned about game development I learned via hacking. Hacking helps you understand how professional games work, which is no doubt an asset when programming your own.
