the only reason it has something to do with anything is the fact that, despite lopunny being a normal type, we WERE talking about a pokemon's gender, and wind inferred that lopunny can be male. strange, but true. lilligant is an all-female species, meaning you NEED whimsicott or cottonee for them to breed, because chances you'll see a serperior or simisage pile-driving a lilligant are SLIM DAMMI. Hell, there aren't even Simisages DETECTABLE in the wild!(i think neither is lilligant)
