i really hate typing on this thing, so i hope my comp gets better soon..

i tinkered for 8 hours to get it working...
i found that the boot sector had been FUCKED
so.. i went into the BIOS...
fiddled around activating stuff and deactivating stuff....
put in my install disk to try EVERYTHING with no hope..
(meanwhile surfing the net with my DSi)
enabled (a very hidden but helpful) setting in BIOS after about 6 hours of all that looking and screwing about...
booted from the install disk
then....
i had to format..
                      re-install vista..
                                           re-install EVERYTHING ELSE!
lucky i didnt lose any important stuff. im good now!

it actually HELPED my comp in a way.. not so slow and clunky anymore, and HDD not being SO FULL!
the funny thing is that i also found out that one of my 5 fans wasnt working and the comp was OVERHEATING coz of it!!! FIXED!!!!!!!!!!!
in other news..
i might get win7 soon...
