I say SEGA and Big N, mostly cause of Mario/Sonic/Zelda/Smash Bros  Stuff

Bethesda Softworks (They make some good Sci-Fi games *coughstartrekmostlycough*)
Capcom (GO GO MEGAMAN!)
HAL Labs (Smash Bros games)
Sonic Team (More specific than SEGA)
Activision (starting to fail, though)
Interplay (Now it's a dead company *I think* but they had some great games back in the day)

Actually HAL Labs is a division of Nintendo, so it wouldn't really count as a completely different producer
Same goes for Game Freak (pokemon games, and Drill Dozer)

Valve. They constantly release amazing games. :]
Then comes Nintendo and Sega. Square Enix is good too.

Sega= sonic (Duh)

Valve=Team fortress 2, counter strike, left 4 dead, and many more great games.

Rockstar=GTA!!!

Ubisoft=Far Cry and Far Cry 2, Rainbow Six vegas (1 and 2)

Epic Games= Unreal Tournament, Gears of War

WB Games= F.E.A.R

Bethesda= Oblivion and Fallout 3 (great games)

Id= Doom 3, Quake

Activision=Call of Duty series.
