eww too dramatic, I already don't like it and I'm not sure I can give it a chance, but still let's not forget that there are many Spidermen over different dimensions, this might just be one of them, also I'm happy that The Lizard makes an appearence

this whole 'Dark' Tone is a new thing from Hollywood. Currently we have/had various Franchises that've been / will be rebooted into that 'Dark' Tone; Batman, Spider-Man, Superman, Jack the Giant-Killer, Death Note (American) & Godzilla (American).  

Theres also the 'idea' floating around in hollywood to make the same thing with Jurassic Park.
