The story would go like this...

Shadow would be on a mission to save Rouge (again) but then Eggman Nega appears with his Demon Dog to attack Shadow but suddenly that Dog reacted to Shadow's Chaos Energy so it fused with Shadow, gaining him Fire Powers and dangerouse waves. So Shadow's mission is to find Eggman Nega to remove the Demon Dog in his body which it will be soon to be Shadow's Loyal friend which it will have a sad ending also. (The Demon Dog is kinda like Chip)

Ummm...Huh...Good question.
Hadn't thought about that.
Well, I'd assume it would do the following things to him:
Increase his speed and strength, give him the ability to fly, and lower his reception to pain.
Just typical vampire stuff.

sounds interesting, I know he's a good guy (sort of) however him as a vamphog as you've desribed it makes him sound like a bad guy again like when he was with Eggaman when he apeared in the Sonic X series.
