Who else is getting this game day one? The correct answer should be "everyone" because this is automatically Game of the Year (because you'll be playing it all year).

Now I know what some of you guys are thinking. "Gee, another Animal Crossing game? Who cares?" Well I'll tell you what, you all should care. Because this game is easily the best game in the entire series. And why, you may ask?

• You're the goddamn mayor. What does that mean? It means you can make public works projects to build stuff in your town like bridges, benches and even buildings. You can also enact ordinances to have stores open earlier or later and have your villagers plant flowers and pull weeds for you. You even get your own secretary.

Examples of things you can put in your town.

• You can customize everything! You can create your own textures and apply it to furniture, clothes, or your village. Of couse, you could create textures in previous games, so what's so special about it now?

If you really like Tom Nook, now you can have a room full of him.


You can make your town look rad as hell.

• QR codes! Say that maybe you suck at drawing and can't make your own textures. Don't worry, other people can do it for you! When you create textures, you can make a QR code for it and put it online for other people to scan and have in their game. And since the game has been out in Japan for months, there are already a bunch of QR codes for you to try!

• There's just a bunch of other cool things you can do, like swimming with your pals and going to an island.

Swimming.

You'd have to be literally insane to not get this game. But what if you don't have a 3DS? Well now is the perfect time to get one, because Nintendo are coming out with an Animal Crossing themed 3DS XL, and it looks delicious.

The game comes out June 9th in North America and June 14th in Europe. I hope at least one other person here buys this game because I want someone to visit my town and I put a lot of work into this post to try and convince you guys to get it.
