There is a third-person shooter, though called DynaMarisa and it's made by the people who make the fighting games. Similar to that game where you fight giant space ants.
Although the only official games are the shmups and the fighting games.

I'm not sure...Although the stories are really good most of the time, they are not something I would write home about. I think it's the personality of the characters that makes this series what it is. Since most of them are mythological creatures it's fun to see them interact.
