RANT:Ranking systems in older sonic games especially in Sonic Heroes

I FUCKING HATE THEM!!
like I'm playing Sonic Heroes having a blast, then some stupid fucking glitched up rail (Rail Canyon and Final Fortress can suck my dick) or a clipping problem fucks me up so my score turns to shit! and I ain't about that E rank life, so I have to replay the ENTIRE fricking long ass 10-minute stage and who knows maybe the game will glitch up again?!

And don't tell me to "git gud" or something cuz believe me I'm more than capable to A rank all the stages in SH in fact, I did it when I was younger to get the super hard mode, but now I find it hard to replay Sonic Heroes or even SA2 because I find it so demotivating to lose my score because of stupid game design and glitches.
