Spam is annoying because[THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE HAS BEEN EDITED FOR...GAH! STOP!] *government blocking guy is mysteriously killed*.
As I was saying, spam is annoying for many reasons. It shows that the spammer has no regard for the rules, as well as a relatively small amount of intelligence as they can't think of anything better to say. It can also be annoying in that it can cut into a conversation. Spam is particularly annoying when it is used to advertise or to spread pornography, or anything else unwanted (i.e. computer viruses).
And that's why spam is annoying.

Note: I wish to apologize to the US Government. I did not kill their blocking person, but it is unfortunate that he died. It was convenient Spell Failthat he died when he did, though.
