Supposedly, but he was rebuilt and powered by a Chaos Emerald shard in Sonic Battle so...ya never know

Gamma E102 has been one of my favourite characters from the first time I played his story. I'd love to see him in another game; not like how he was in Sonic Battle though. I want him to be more true to his persona from Adventure.
Besides, though, he kicks Omega's butt any day. ;

In the Sonic Universe comic, Eggman sent Omega to destroy Gamma.
After sniping Omega, Gamma and Omega talk, and then Omega blows the scrap outta Gamma.
