Yes.I think Gamma should appear in another game.If Gamma could defeat that bizarre form of beta (E-101 MK II),then he sure can beat Omega!

i say there should be a battle of e102 gamma vs. e123omega to be back in sonic (gamma beats  the crap outta omega) gamma wins!

There was.
In the Sonic Universe comic, Eggman sent Omega to destroy Gamma.
After sniping Omega, Gamma and Omega talk, and then Omega blows the scrap outta Gamma.
