This is a Elevator. Since sand and gravel are the only physics controlled bricks, I use them. Cause if you fall of the platform you can destroy one brick and then the others will fall down one.

This game is awesome <3 Creative mode is good. But Beta is better, because of pistons. Pistons are good for you, although they should crush some blocks, so its fun to use.
I think pistons should crush dirt-cobblestone only. So it doesn't become a easy mining tool. (TooManyItems and InvEdit, then they find diamonds.)

Nope they're real. They were going to be called "Farlanders" at one point even, and the fan videos are accurate aside from sound design.

Well for one, I generally use a HD texture pack, if that's what you mean? I also generally have it on high view distance+Fancy graphics. And yeah, I just use fraps, F1 to hide the HUD and F8 to smooth the camera.
