I have three mains i like to use. Here's the order of use from a skill point of view:
1. Luigi
2. Rosalina
3. Toon Link
It's less of how good i am with them and more of personality of the character. Luigi is tied with Tails on my list of favorite characters. Rosalina has a strange effect on me and Toon Link is adorable... plus Wind Waker is my favorite Zelda game.

So far, only Halo has done that the way Smash has.
But single player wise i'd have to say... Sonic 3 and Knuckles. I had Sonic 2 and Knuckles on my Genesis but i never got sonic 3 no matter how many times i asked. So when Mega Collection came out and i unlocked it i was blown away when i learned the full story of what happened to the Death Egg. Plus, i could finally play Co-op in "and Knuckles" with my brother.

Crash Bash Co-op (sure my friend moved and we barely got a chance to play it but still)

Still haven't beaten A Bug's Life game... and cant with the disc's condition.
There are many others. I didnt even finish Blinx because guess what? Super Smash Bros. Melee came out in 2001 so that distracted me the most.

I got the homing shot before i beat the Mechanical Fish Challenge with in that one Lagoon level that Lanky Kong fights the boss it... if you get the homing shot before you face that challenge it becomes all but impossible to do...
Fun fact: I got lost in Banjo-Tooie so badly i just gave up completely... not that it mattered. I only rented the game for 5 days.

There are too many games to list but i would like to see Sonic Chronicles have a remake for the 3DS and then a sequel to it. A lot of people (not me though, i absolutely enjoyed Chronicles) complained about the controls and music of that game but if they remade it with better controls and soundtrack it would be more accepted with fans.

The prequels weren't planned when the original trilogy came out. Also they weren't called episodes 4, 5, 6 when they first came out, those were added retroactively after the prequel trilogy was announced.

Pre-made. Mostly because if said character is featured in a different game they usually gdt their premade design and it is much easier to associate to him/her. The Robin reveal reactions perfectly represent this as no one even knew who he was until post-trailer explainations.

After giving it some thought, I would have to say Microsoft since whatever games they did showcase at least had release dates given to them. And the backwards compatibility thing is very nice for me. Nintendo's was lackluster and Sony's was extremely.... vague and Gigobyte brought up a great point about Shenmue 3. Why the hell do we need to fund it when Sony can do it perfectly fine? That was a missed opportunity on their part. PlayStation Vue... that had to be the only time TV at an E3 conference was great!

are helping to fund and develop Shenmue III (that's why it's console exclusive to PS4), they just wanted to gauge interest first. The first two Shenmue games lost a ton of money and they didn't want to lose money on another one.

truly exclusive. No PC port to be found. Smh. And the PlayStation 4 is selling enough to make back any losses that game could have gotten.

To think that Activision went to Nintendo with rhe idea only to be declined seems like a bad move at first, but Nintendo in himdsight was both right and wrong for doing so. Right because console exclusive Spyro game would have damned Nintendo in the eyes of all Sony fans forever. Wrong for missing a big opportunity. Oh well. At least amiibos are used to function more than one game series.
Old-school Spyro fans hate Skylanders either way.

They would have to remove Spyro for it to have been accepted. I have played the first Skylanders game and the gameplay itself isn't bad at all. Can be quite enjoyable. Honestly, Skylanders would have been a killer app for the Wii U if Nintendo took the deal.

I dunno, maybe it would have been a killer app on the original Wii but now there's Disney Infinity and soon Lego Dimensions that they have to compete with. Plus Nintendo would have to split the profits with Activision whereas they get to keep all Amiibo profits for themselves.

There are a lot of poor choices when it comes to items. The poorest would have to be the Boomerang item as it just seems so... unnecessary. So that would be removed. As for adding something in... a single player mode similar to SSE. That made Brawl's content so much more replayable.
The boomerang grows stronger everytime it's thrown, it can even kill at 50%
