Werehog ran at a Good pace. And If you were to run fast like regular Sonic, he would not have time to defeat the enemies in his way .

I'm playing the PS2 ver. right now,and he moves and a fine,steady,controllable pace like any normal platformer

ya got a old controller? ive got a wirless and guess what sonic and werehog go down like crazy  but the annoying part in the PS2 version is that it cant be modded

nooo I got a blue,wireless logitech battery powered controller and he STILL moves at a fine steady pace

i got the same controller but the analog is so used up that its gone crazy..... weird oh well maybe its the PS2s signal that makes it
