i say you should be able to create characters, like have some sort of program you can buy for,say, $10, that you put on your computer then just make all the moves you want and all the characters you want, and have it come with a usb device type thingy that you just plug in, load it on, and download it to you Wii

Okay first, criticizing others opinions 8D

Character creation...while cool...
It would kind of take away from the Super Smash Bros feel...
Its a game of nintendo characters beating the living piss out of each other until one wins
Keyword there, NINTENDO
It wouldn't be the same if we could create characters

And as for adding your own songs...just play them from some speakers or your computer
The wii is not a Ps3 or 360, it isn't capable of custom soundtracks nor will it be able to

For sure we need playable Tales of Symphonia characters
Maybe another pokemon trainer (Gary?) with a different set of pokemon

Now that I think about it...custom characters could work
But in this way..
Anyone remember the game Custom Robo?
They could have a minigame or settings menu of sorts to where you can make mechs and use them

i think some new chars would be needed if making a new one =-/ and chars with unique moves not like ness/lucus captian falcon/gannondorf where the moves are very similar but stats are diff

It was either Nintendo offered and Capcom refused or vise versa.
