(Mac topic) I got Snow Leopard!

SNOW LEOPARD!

Its so nice to see "Version 10.6" instead of, what, "Version 10.5.8"... why bother add the 8?! @_@

Anyway, my dad ordered a mini-mac for my grandpa the same day that Snow Leopard came out, and it didnt come with it. So after my dad came home from his camping trip, he called, and they sent it. I installed it (Fearing that it would delete all my current files. If you just go strait forward, and do the regular install, it shouldn't, but back up your files JUST IN CASE...) and it seems nice. The applications folder and other folders now have scroll bars, instead of them being just one big windowish-pop-up-box...

I did notice a faster refreshing time when its in sleep mode. That's good, because it was starting to slow down for me @_@

I did not test the faster restart theory, yet, however... and other than that I really don't notice much difference. Then again, I don't know what I'm suppose to be looking for

Sadly, I wont be uploading it to SViP or ViP, because...
1. I don't feel comfortable doing that with new products...
2. I don't know how I WOULD do that...
3. It's for 5 computer uses only, so I'm not sure if that'd be effected...

They're awesome. Snow Leopard's updates were really nice... it stopped my downloads folder from getting to big XD

And if anything you can run bootcamp, which lets you (If you have a disk from your PC) install windows on another part of your Mac, so you can run both computers. XD
