i saw it the day before it came out... it wasnt that bad. it did good for being a compressed first season. they had to change things to make the transitions more smooth

I was expecting it to be awful. At least the first half of season 1 of Avatar wasn't very good. It didn't start getting good until season 2, and season 3 was just awesome.

But, yeah, I'd seen the trailers. Horrible CG usually equals horrible movie as it indicates a huge lack of concern about the film, it is just seen as a way to rake in cash. And the CG looks just AWFUL. Seriously, M. Night. I've played video games with better graphics.

In case you can't tell, I haven't seen it yet, but I plan on it. Obviously, my expectations are low. Almost Dragonball: Evolution low. But not quite. At least Aang isn't in high school.

i watched a behind the scenes on tv. he said the balance between comedy and seriousness was hard to balance. so comedy was limited.
