Ace Attorney is fairly popular, and Professor Layton even gets commercials. Live-action commercials. I think it has a pretty good shot at getting localized.

Most likely because that's how it is for almost every game made in Japan. Of course they announce in there first. Almost zero Japanese games get a simultaneous release internationally.

Also, America is at least 3 games behind Japan in the Professor Layton series. We might have to wait until those games come out here before we ever see this game.

News! For the first time in ages!!

In case you don't know, Ace Attorney is getting a movie in Japan and they're filming it as you read this. I mention this because THEY GOT THE LIVE ACTION ACTORS TO VOICE THE CHARACTERS OF PHOENIX AND MAYA IN THIS GAME.

I'm probably not even going to play this game in Japanese (if that's even an option, I don't know if you can switch languages like that in 3DS games), but its still very cool.
