We're talking about the country. You'd want to kill the President. But, if you actually wanted the assassination to have an impact on legislation, you'd want to take out the Vice President too. And whoever's third in line for the presidency. Those three are going to have the same political agendas, so unless all three are out of the way, a repeal isn't going to happen.

Or you could not kill anyone and just start a political movement to get the law repealed.

Y'now, if a government that bans video games comes into power, they'll likely ban all non-government-run media. Not only that, but using the banned media would likely earn you a warrant for your arrest and a nice spot in federal prison. Sounds like a dictatorship or something.
