I don't trust most reviewers. These days people think a 7 out of 10 is a bad score when its actually above average. Game scores aren't supposed to be like school grades. On a scale of 10, 5 should be average. On a scale of 5, 3 is average. Like that. >.>

Even Game Informer who have outwardly admitted they HATE Sonic games gave it a 6/10, that's very impressive
But alas, unless it gets 9.8 or above the game is crap =/

IGN tend to give pretty fair reviews, with the occasional slip-up. But I don't understand why it matters. Reviews are meant to help you decide on buying a game. You don't need to scream at a reviewer from giving it the score YOU think it should have. in fact, if you think the score is the most important aspect of a a review, you are stupid.

Yes there is, however, perfection is nothing more than an opinion. That's like saying there's no such thing as "good" or "bad". They differ between perspectives.

Perfection is relative and opinionated
I think Kirby Return to Dreamland is a perfect game deserving a 10, others don't think so.
Some say Sonic 3 is a perfect game, their opinion, but I disagree.

If a bunch of game reviewers give the same game a 10, they just share a common opinion that "This is a perfect game" in their eyes. You are free to disagree, no big deal, the real question simply boils down to whether you're gonna buy, rent or avoid

I dont really listen to reviewers, I just buy the game and if I like it, I like it, if I dont, I dont.

(Not that a Zelda game was ever bad IMO)
