Spriting Tips. jkid Needs Helpzors.

So, I should be studying, but I'm not. I'm wasting my time editing sprites for a project I most likely won't finish but, hey. It's good practice, right? Besides, Terraria did it.



Those of you from HCF may remember this girl, Crys. Well I took a the RPGMVXA editor, made myself a decent base and decided to edit it to look like her. Only problem is...something seems...off...



No matter what I do it seems..."undershaded". I don't know how I'm going to make the arms look decent and can you even tell she has a skirt on? I can't.

Can I get a tip or two here?

I'm not good at RPGVX sprites, they're all shaded to be too shiny :I
If I were you I'd check the VX forums for spriting help.
