Cliché doesnt mean bad. Avatar (Cameron) for example, is full of clichés - but its done in a amazing and thrilling way.

This puts them in a successful and hilarious blender.

Kadokawa are the ones publishing the original mangas in their weekly or monthly magazines, the anime shows are simply based off them.
Gainax is just an animation studio.
