People, if they feel you made an exceptionally good post, can decide to give you a karma. The more karma you have, the better. However, if someone doesn't like your post, they can opt to take a karma point away from you. Don't let it bother you too much.

You get Karma points from Members who basically "thank" you or think you did something great or had a really interesting conversation, etc, etc.
Members remove Karma from you when they think you did something bad, pissed them off, etc, etc.

If you ever get Karma in the minus you can just ask jkid, he'll give you +10 Karma because he is "nice".
