My personal problem with F2P games that aren't MMOs is just how half-assed they feel, and the barriers they come with.

I haven't once played a F2P game that wasnt unfair towards the ones who do not spend any money nor had outragously high prices, aside from TERA and Tribes: Ascend. Hawken maybe too? They're all like Facebook Games or Korean MMO's.

While we're at it, Tribes: Ascend is how F2P should be done.



Have the normal F2P Compenent where people can play for free and buy things if they want to AND offer a full product at a normal price.
Then again, this probably wouldnt work in most Games because of the nature of the Items.
Nor is anything as skillfully balanced as in Tribes.
