What's the difference between

Dynasty Warriors 8
Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends
Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Complete
Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires

These versions apparently also exist for older games, but idk.
I asked other people and I'm just confused

Xtreme Legends is the same game but with different content.
Xtreme Legends Complete is the base game + the Xtreme Legends content.
Empires is the same game but with some tactical elements.

Well, I found out it doesn't.

The base game is the base game.
Xtreme Legends is the same game but with different content.
Xtreme Legends Complete is the base game + the Xtreme Legends content.
Empires is the same game but with some tactical elements.

I wasn't sure because of the "same game" thing.

On the bright side, Samurai Warriors 4 offers me story mode campaigns like in DW8 PLUS an Empires-like mode in one game.

It also offers me fabulous hair
