Why tails!!!

Bad ending means that tails is dead, why they got to go that far to my little ball of fluff, over all good game 7/10

Tails doesn't die in the game. If you say that because Tails appears alone in the sky in the bad ending, how could you explain the fact that in the good ending of the game, Sonic and Tails appear in the sky, and none of them dies in that ending.
